A search warrant was executed Thursday by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team in the 53000 block of M-51 North in Silver Creek Township. One subject was arrested.

Detectives obtained the search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected methamphetamine manufacturing. One male subject  with an an outstanding warrant for for failure to pay child support out of Van Buren County was arrested. He was also charged with conspiracy to manufacture meth and possession of meth.

He was lodged at the Cass County Jail. This matter remains under investigation.
