Join Great Start for lots of family fun, tons of activities and resource sharing at the ninth annual Parent Expo from 5 to 7:30 p.m. April 17 at Cassopolis High School.
As always, everything is free and all families from Cass County are invited to join in the fun.
Great Start will be serving hamburgers and hotdogs and the KONA Ice Truck will be there to make Kona Ice Slushies.
The Edwardsburg Lions will be performing vision screens with some of the newest high tech equipment.
Kids Karaoke, martial arts, music and dance, family pictures, games, crafts, door prizes and lots more will be on hand.
“Strengthening Families” will be the highlight of the evening. “Great Start, Strong Finish” is the motto, so look for an auto-racing theme at the expo and feel free to come dressed in NASCAR or racing attire.
Information and giveaways that support the new “Strengthening Families” framework will be available.
Learn about the five “Protective Factors” that are sure to support and strengthen families and communities.
April is celebrated and supported as The Month of the Young Child, Child Abuse Prevention Month and Autism Awareness Month, so be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to learn what one can do to support and educate the community in these areas.
