Chemical Bank celebrates 95th anniversary

Chemical Bank marked its 95th anniversary Wednesday.  Locally, Chemical Bank has branches and ATMs in Niles, Buchanan, Berrien Springs and Eau Claire.

Since opening its doors as Chemical State Savings Bank on March 14, 1917, Chemical Bank provided individualized banking solutions, personalized customer service and improving the quality of life in area communities.

“From our humble beginnings in Midland, it is our pleasure to now serve 32 counties in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula through 142 banking locations.  With gratitude, I extend our sincere appreciation to the Michigan communities, businesses and residents who have contributed to our success,” said David B. Ramaker, chairman, CEO and president.

“In celebrating our 9th anniversary, we honor the customers and communities we are privileged to serve” Ramaker said.

“We fully recognize that without your patronage and support, Chemical Bank would not exist.”

Chemical Bank, with 1,800 employees and more than 230,000 customers, will be celebrating this milestone through the end of the year with customer appreciation celebrations at branches throughout the state.
