Dowagiac City Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall, 241 S. Front St. According to the draft agenda released Thursday, the council will consider:

Resolutions
• To approve the employee compensation plan as required by the Economic Vitality Incentive Program (EVIP).
• To approve health insurance mandates as required under the Publicly Funded Health Insurance Contribution Act.
• To approve an agreement with Pokagon Township for provision of fire protection coverage services for the period April 1, 2012, through March 31, 2015.
• To approve an agreement with LaGrange Township for provision of fire protection coverage services for the period April 1, 2012, through March 31, 2015.
• To approve railroad track improvements between Niles and Dowagiac that will alleviate any anticipated future congestion.
