Students skip rope for heart health

Howard Elementary students in Niles are jumping for the chance to fight heart disease and stroke, two of the nation’s top killers.
The school will hold is fifth annual Jump Rope for Heart event March 12-16 at the Howard Elementary School’s gymnasium.
Students will jump rope to raise funds for the American Heart Association, which funds cardiovascular disease research and public and professional education programs.
It is co-sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
