Master plan input sought

A public hearing is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. March 12 at the Milton Township Hall, 32097 Bertrand Rd., Niles, Residents are encouraged to give their input on a revised draft of the township’s future master plan which includes revisions to the land use map.
A copy of the proposed revisions and the proposed future land use map are available for review at the township hall, which is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays.
The master plan is used by a township to define and manage the growth within a community. Every five years, townships are required to review their master plan and determine if changes in the population and its consideration for growth in specific areas require changes.
