There will be an open house Wednesday at Milton Township Hall so the Michigan Department of Transportation can highlight a $5.8 million repaving of U.S. 12 from M-60 to Edwardsburg.
The event, involving MDOT staff who will be on hand to receive comments and to answer questions for business owners and residents, takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the township hall, 32097 Bertrand St., Niles.
The project is scheduled for early May through late October.
It includes culvert upgrades, guardrail replacement and signing and pavement marking upgrades.
At least one lane will be open on U.S. 12 at all times under flag control.
