Dowagiac District Library has expanded its children’s program offerings to include special events each Saturday for elementary-aged children.
“Chips and Chapters” for fourth- through sixth-graders begins 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday and continues at that time throughout the month.
JoLynn Hawkins will lead a read-a-long of the popular book,  “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.”
Fun activities — and chips, of course — enhance the experience.  Kids will learn how to make funny diaries, filled with drawings and anecdotes.
Materials and refreshments for these and all programs at Dowagiac District Library are free.
Details about all DDL programs and activities can be found on the website www.dowagiacdl.org.
Call the library with questions or for more information at (269) 782-3826.
