LANSING — Sen. John Proos has announced that Adam Mensinger will be joining his Senate staff as district representative.
“I am proud to have Adam Mensinger coming on board,” said Proos, R-St. Joseph. “Adam is an outstanding young man who will help me provide the best constituent service possible for the people of Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties.”
Mensinger was raised in Baroda and graduated from Lakeshore High School before earning dual degrees in international relations and history from Michigan State University in 2011. During college, Adam volunteered as an intern for Proos and Rep. Sharon Tyler, R-Niles.
“Southwest Michigan has always been my home, and I am honored to be able to serve my neighbors in this way,” said Mensinger. “I know that Sen. Proos’ top priority is to listen and learn from the people of Southwest Michigan. I will work to further that goal so that every resident has the opportunity to be heard and communicate with John.”
For the past four years, Adam has worked for the Berrien County Road Commission and continues to do so on a part-time basis. As district representative, he will attend local meetings with Proos and on Proos’ behalf when the senator is unable to be there himself.
