Ellison nets 14 as Rangers sting Bridgman

BRIDGMAN — Visiting Cassopolis squared its girls basketball record at 9-9 Thursday (Feb. 16) night with a 50-38 victory over Bridgman in Lakeland Conference action.
The Rangers (9-9, 6-5 Lakeland) slowly pulled away from the Bees (5-13, 1-10 Lakeland). Cass led 12-7 after one and 27-21 at the intermission.
The Rangers outscored Bridgman 23-17 in the second half to earn the 12-point victory.
Reese Ellison led Cassopolis with 14 points. Breanna Coleman added 12 and Courtney Moore 10.
Niki Strefling led the Bees with 14 points.
