Southwestern Michigan College theater department presents “The Little Shop of Horrors” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23, 24 and 25 and at 2 p.m. Feb. 26.
The musical, under the direction of theater department instructor Thom Cooper, will be in the theater of the Dale A. Lyons Building on the college’s Dowagiac campus.
Tickets cost $7 for general admission, $5 for students and senior citizens and are free to those 18 and under. Tickets can be purchased from the SMC box office at (800) 456-8675 ext. 1280.
“Little Shop of Horrors” is about a down-and-out skid row floral assistant who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood.
The spring musical is under the production of theater department instructor Thom Cooper with music accompaniment under the direction of David Carew, SMC music instructor, and Jon Korzun, band instructor.
