Upton endorses Romney

Published 10:44pm Wednesday, February 8, 2012

U.S. Rep. Fred Upton has announced his endorsement of presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

“In order to enact the change we are fighting for in Washington, we must change the

Administration,” said Upton, R-St. Joseph, Wednesday. “Whether it is repealing Obamacare or stopping cap-and-trade and other regulations that stifle job growth, Mitt Romney will be the leader we all can trust to fundamentally change Washington.”

Fellow Michigan Congressman Tim Walberg also offered his support Wednesday.

Romney, a Michigan native and former governor of Massachusetts, appreciated the endorsements.
“It is an honor to have the support of Congressman Upton and Congressman Walberg, and so many fine leaders from Michigan,” Romney said. “President Obama’s policies have been especially hurtful for Michigan. Michigan is home for me, and I will work my hardest with leaders

Congressmen Upton and Walberg to make sure Michigan can reclaim the pride the state felt when I was growing up.”

Michigan’s primary election is Feb. 28.

Fred the only thing you are right about is change. But it is people like you that need to go. You have been their a heck of alott longer that President Obama. You support Romney and his corporations are people, I dont worry about the poor mantra. You still have not explained why you have health care, but you don’t want us to have it. You talk a good game, but you are long due for retirement and take that nice pension I helped pay for. Thanks for nothing.
