Gas prices up 11.9 cents

Average retail gasoline prices in Michigan have risen 11.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.51 per gallon Sunday. This compares with the national average that has increased 3.0 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.43 per gallon, according to gasoline price website MichiganGasPrices.com.
Including the change in gas prices in Michigan during the past week, prices Sunday were 32.0 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 0.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has increased 10.2 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 31.9 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
