Barn Swallow Theatre Board of Governors will hold its first meeting of 2012 on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the theater’s new home located at 22334 Highway U.S. 12 east of the intersection of M-62 and U.S. 12, Edwardsburg, adjacent to Four Lakes Country Club.
Action items on the agenda include election of board officers for the 2012 season and appointment of working committees for the theater’s performances, building and grounds, publicity, properties and fundraising/finance management. Tentative scheduling of plays and other activities will be discussed.
Selection of directors and plays to be performed will be considered. Directors interested in presentations for the coming season or productions are invited to attend to discuss their proposals at this meeting.
A work session to plan and prepare the facility for the coming season has been scheduled for Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All theater and interested community members are welcome to attend the board meeting and the work session for suggestions and assistance in this community endeavor.
