To give parents the tools they need to be knowledgeable about the college-selection process no matter where they plan to send their son or daughter, Lake Michigan College is hosting “College: The Next Big Step – A Workshop for Parents.”
The two-hour workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at the College’s Mendel Center on the Napier Avenue Campus.
The two-hour workshop begins at 6:30 p.m. and is free to anyone interested in preparing for college.
Families will learn the how’s and why’s of financial aid including grants, loans and scholarships; college assessment testing; career services; transfer options from two-year to four-year schools; and Early College opportunities while students are still in high school.
