Niles Wrestling Club off to great start

The Niles Wrestling Club is off to a great start for its 2011-12 season. The team has 28 novice wrestlers who have accounted for 50 medals in their first three tournaments. The Niles Wrestling Club is off to a great start for the 2011-12 season.

With 28 novice wrestlers, Niles has brought home over 50 medals from the first three tournaments.

Wrestlers have competed in novice only tournaments at Mattawan, Mendon and Brandywine earning, 11 first places, seven second places, 17 third places and 17 fourth places.

These wrestlers will continue into open tournaments along with non-novice wrestlers in January at Sturgis.

The community is urged to come to Niles High School February 5th at 9:30 am to support Niles Wrestlers at the tournament hosted by the Niles Wrestling Club.
