Brandywine honors board

The community is invited to attend a reception in honor of the Brandywine school board members at 6 p.m. Monday in the Bell Education Center Conference Room, 1830 S. Third St.

The reception is being held in observance of School Board Recognition Month, which takes place in January.
School board members have the responsibility of developing polices and making decisions on educational and social issues impacting the community.
The Brandywine school board meeting will be held after the reception.
