Lauren and Dustin Cornelius of Niles are the parents of a daughter, Elizabeth “Libby” Christine Cornelius, born Jan. 7, 2012 at Memorial Birthing Center. She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 20.5 inches long.

Grandparents are Elizabeth Steel Karlowicz, Pete Karlowicz and Isaiah and Diane Cornelius.

Great-grandparents are Don and Verna Carpenter and Adele Pytel.

Brookins-Ottinger

Corey Brookins and Brittany Ottinger of Niles are the parents of a daughter, Adaina Brookins, born Dec. 31, 2011, at Lakeland-Niles. She weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces.

Corey is also the father of Corey Brookins Jr., 9, and Maria Brookins, 8.

Maternal grandmother is Loretta Ottinger of Niles. Paternal grandmother is Robin Brookins of Dowagiac.

Maternal great-grandmother is Ruby Ottinger of Dowagiac. Paternal great-grandmother is Barbara Brookins of Dowagiac.

Seidner-Kutz

Adam Seidner and Ericka Kutz of Niles are the parents of a daughter, born Jan. 8, 2012, at Lakeland-Niles. She weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces.

The Seidners are also the parents of Adam, 16 months, and Autumn, 11.

DeMarco and Lynzie Thompson of Niles are the parents of a son, born Jan. 11, 2012, at Lakeland-Niles. He weighed 8 pounds.

The Thompsons are also the parents of Se’cret, 5.

Alford

William Alford Jr. and Nancy Alford of Niles are the parents of a girl, Allison Alford, born Jan. 12, 2012, at Lakeland-Niles. She weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.
Allison has four sisters and two brothers.
