Brandywine Superintendent John Jarpe led from wire to wire to claim the 2011-12 Daily Star Football Forecasters championship.
Jarpe, who started the year 20-0, finished with a final record of 129-36 after going 26-9 in the bowl games.
Dan Brawley, Niles’ varsity football coach, took second with a mark of 126-39, while Michigan Senator John Proos, R-St. Joseph, came in third after posting a record of 125-40.
FOX 28’s Allison Hayes and Jeff Upton rounded out the top five with records of 123-42 and 122-43 respectively.
Leader Publications Publisher Michael Bennett was the top forecaster for the bowl games as he went 106-59.
