A Niles man was uninjured in a two-vehicle accident today on M-51 in Silver Creek Township, Cass County.

Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that his deputies handled a two-vehicle crash at 2:43 p.m. on M 51, just north of Elm Street.

Both vehicles were south bound on M-51 when Adam Roach, 20, of Niles, slowed to pull into a driveway and was rear-ended by Ruth Goodsite, 60, of Dowagiac.

Goodsite then ran off the road to the right and hit a tree. She was transported to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac for injuries sustained in the crash.

Dowagiac Police, Tribal Police, Pride Care Ambulance and Sister Lakes Fire Department assisted deputies at the scene.
