CASSOPOLIS — Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports his deputies handled a two-vehicle crash at 2:43 p.m. Wednesday on M-51,  just north of Elm Street, in Silver Creek Township.
Both vehicles were southbound on M-51 when Adam Roach, 20, of Niles, slowed to pull into a driveway and was rear-ended by Ruth Goodsite, 60, of Dowagiac.
Goodsite then ran off the road to the right and hit a tree.
Goodsite was transported to Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac for injuries sustained in the crash. Roach was not injured.
