Eddies roll to easy victory

EDWARDSBURG — Host Edwardsburg outscored Brandywine 32-19 in the first half en route to an easy 75-43 Lakeland Conference boys basketball victory Tuesday night.

The win upped the Eddies’ overall record to 6-4 and improved their lead mark to 3-1. The Bobcats fall to 2-6 overall and 0-5 in conference action.

Edwardsburg scored 16 points in each of the first two quarter and then exploded for 43 second half points.

Brandywine was only able to must 24 points in the final 16 minutes of play.

Max Habicht and Josh Kozinski led a balanced Eddies’ attack with 13 points each. Evan VanBelle, Patrick Harvey and Kyle Slack all finished with 10 points.

Michael Shelton led all scorers with 15 points for the Bobcats, who also got nine points from Evan Hartman.
