Delores and Eugene Downey Jr.

Delores and Eugene Downey Jr. of Niles are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.

Delores is retired from Silverbrook Manor. Eugene is retired from the State of Michigan.

Their children are Jeff Downey of Phoenix, Ariz.; Blake (Rita) Downey of St. Joseph; Eric (Teri) Downey of South Bend; and Pam (Jim) McLean of St. Joseph. They have 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A family celebration will be held Saturday in St. Joseph.
