So you think you can predict college football games better than the Dowagiac Daily News Football Forecasters?

Now is your chance to prove it and win some cool prizes as well.

The Daily News launched Tuesday afternoon a contest to pick the winners of the upcoming college football bowl games.

Sports fans are encouraged to go to the Daily News website (www.dowagiacnews.com) and look for the contest listed on the right hand side of the page just below the poll question and right above the Facebook Daily News Fan Page widget.

You can also go to the Dowagiac Daily News Facebook page and click on the contests icon near the top of the left-hand side of the page.

Once you reach the page you can create an account or login using your Facebook connection. Make you picks and then sit back and enjoy the bowl season, while following the leaderboard to see if you or one of your friends are in the running for the grand prize — a college Fathead of your choice and a Weber Q200 LP grill.

You can also create your own groups to include your friends or join Daily News sports editor Scott Novak’s group and see if you can pick college football games better than he can.

The person with the best record at the end of the bowl season will be eligible to join the Daily News Football Forecasters next fall.

You must be 18 years of age to enter this contest and you can only enter the contest once. Winners will be notified by email. Your odds of winning will be based on the number of entries.
