CASSOPOLIS — The 2011-2012 DAR Good Citizens will be honored by Capt. Samuel Felt Chapter Monday at a tea at 2 p.m. at Cass District Library, 319 M-62 North.
Representatives from the seven area schools of Brandywine, Edwardsburg, Cassopolis, Dowagiac, Marcellus, Decatur and Lawrence will be introduced by Good Citizens Chair Sarah Essex.
Good Citizens are chosen from the senior class of each of these schools and must possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
The program will be provided by the Marcellus High School Band under the direction of Miss Katy Essex.
