Gardeners’ Holiday Party
5:30 p.m. Friday

Get your wildest holiday sweater out of the moth balls and join a holiday celebration for gardeners. Begin with wine and appetizers and finish with a baked potato bar prepared by Chef Tim Carrigan, complete with all the toppings, salad and dessert. Then sit back and enjoy holiday music by River Bend Chorus Sweet Adelines. Test your garden know-how with garden trivia and make a holiday craft. Register by Tuesday. Fee is $32; $25 members.

Breakfast with Santa

9:30 to 11 a.m.
Dec. 3, 10 and 17

Bring a wish list and have breakfast with Santa Claus, then make a craft to take home. Adults $12, children ages 6 to 11 $8, children 5 and younger admitted free. Registration required by the Friday before. This holiday tradition fills quickly.

Christmas greens
full session
10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 10

Create natural holiday decorations in the tradition of Fernwood founder Kay Boydston. Fernwood provides experienced instructors, fresh greens and basic construction materials. Make three major projects in the full session or a 24-inch holiday wreath in the mini-session. Materials list is provided.

Register by Dec. 2. Fee is $50; members $40.

Candlelight
holiday dinner

Take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle and enjoy an elegant dinner prepared by Chef Tim Carrigan. Cost is $25 per person. Reservations required by Dec. 15.

Holiday graham cracker cottage for kids

11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Chef Carrigan helps kids make holiday cottages complete with snow icing and candy embellishments. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Register by Thursday. Cos is  $12; $10 for members.

Gingerbread
for grown-ups
Sunday
4 to 6 p.m.

Release your inner child with Chef Carrigan in this gingerbread workshop for adults. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and adult eggnog or hot cider while making a gingerbread house. Register by Thursday. Cost is  $37; $30 for members.
