American Legion Post 26 will host its annual Veteran’s Day service at 11 a.m. Friday at the veterans’ monument in downtown Niles.
Speakers will include Pastor Jeff Whittaker of Michiana Christian Embassy and Post 26 Commander Kenneth Wolf. Dorothy McLaughlin, Post 26 auxiliary chaplain, will give the closing prayer.
The ceremony will also include the Pledge of Allegiance, a firing squad and taps.
