The property owned by former Niles City Administrator Terry Eull, which was annexed by the city of Niles from Niles Township when he became city administrator in 1998, has been re-annexed to the township.
The city council unanimously approved the move at Monday’s meeting, although councilwoman Betty Arndt said she was “a little disappointed” about the situation.
“I feel that the hand that provided his salary and retirement has been bit,” Arndt said.
Eull, who retired Sept. 30, was required to live in the city while he was serving as administrator.
