Ray and Rose Richmond

Ray and Rose Richmond of Niles are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Oct. 29.
Ray is a retired welder at Tyler Refrigeration, where he worked for 44 years.
Rose is a retired nurse’s assistant at Lakeland Community Hospital, where she worked for 35 years.
The Richmonds have three children: Ray (Anna) Richmond of Bartlett, Ill.; Robin Pagano of Niles; and Randy (Jessica) Richmond of Oak Park, Ill.; six grandchildren: James Rodgers, Gino Pagano, McCallister Richmond, Austin Richmond, Isabel Richmond and Cameron Richmond.
They also have two great-grandchildren: Brandi Whitmer and Abby Rodgers.
Since retiring, the Richmonds have enjoyed spending time with their family, exhibiting at local car shows, keeping up with the yard work and attending country music shows.
They are planning to celebrate their anniversary with friends and family.
