Niles District Library will host a beginners Genealogy Workshop.
There will be two sessions taught by genealogist Karen Krugman, of Bloomfield Hills.
The first session, “Where Do I Go from Here?” is at 10 a.m. on Nov. 5.
The second session, “Chasing Your Elusive Ancestor on the Internet,” is at 11:15 a.m. Nov. 5.
Niles District Library also hosts its first holiday craft-making session, “Gift in a Jar,” on Nov. 19.
This make-and-take craft is for the whole family. The library is accepting donations of large mason jars and lids.
Patrons can make their jars anytime from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Both programs are free. For more information, contact the Niles District Library information desk at (269) 683-8545 ext.112, or online at www.nileslibrary.com.
