McCauslin, Skalla to face off in mayoral forum

Mike McCauslin and Wm. Tim Skalla, the two candidates vying for the office of mayor of the city of Niles, will answer questions in a


voters’ forum at 7 p.m. Monday.
The event, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Berrien/Cass Counties, Leader Publications and the Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held in the downstairs Community Room of the Niles District Library, 620 E. Main St., Niles.
The election for the four-year seat is Nov. 8.
This is an opportunity for voters to pose questions to the candidates before casting their ballots.
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
