Council touring WWTP

A tour of the wastewater treatment plant is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
We will have a chance to see first-hand the items noted in the engineer’s initial report before heading to the City Council meeting at 7 p.m.

Design Review Committee
housing incentive meeting

During its meeting on the evening of Sept. 21, the Design Review Committee reviewed six applications for incentive awards.
A total of $1,345 was awarded by the committee.
The housing incentive fund has expended its budget for this year; however, we already have an additional seven applications for the first meeting of the new fiscal year.

Dashboard

Last week I reported that staff was working to meet the compliance requirements of the new state budget by Oct. 1. To be eligible for EVIP funding, the city is now required to make additional reporting to the state and the public regarding municipal finances over and above previous state requirements. The reports have been filed and we are now getting a link to the information on the city’s Web site. In the meantime, people can find the information on the Web at: www.AccessMyGov.com/DirectUrl/MunicipalDashboard/761
