Sindelar open house to benefit museum

John Sindelar is opening his rare wooden tool collection  to the public Saturday, Sept. 24 to benefit the Edwardsburg Area Historical Museum. The display will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and  the cost is $5, with all proceeds going to the Edwardsburg Museum.
For many years, Sindelar has been traveling all over the world collecting handmade woodworking tools. He built displays in his factory, Sindelar Fine Woodworking on Section Street in Edwardsburg. Two additional display rooms have been added the five regular rooms in his factory.
This world renown collector is one of Edwardsburg’s best-kept secrets.
Tickets may be purchased at the Edwardsburg Museum or at the door. The Sindelar Fine Woodworking Factory is at the end of Section Street off U.S. 12.
