More vehicles entered, items stolen in Edwardsburg area

The Ontwa Township Edwardsburg Police Department reports that two vehicles were rummaged through recently in the 69000 block of Elkhart Road.
The vehicles were entered without damage and the glove compartment had been rummaged through, but nothing was noted as missing at the time of the report.
Police are investigating the incident, but there was not very much evidence found at the scene to indicate whom the suspects may have been.

Items stolen from unlocked vehicle
Police report that a vehicle was left unlocked with a black purse and medications inside, recently giving an opportunity for someone to enter the vehicle during the night and take medications and the purse.

Police pick up 13-year-old in early morning
Police picked up a 13-year-old female at 2:30 a.m. Sunday walking around town talking on her cell phone. She was taken home by the officers and a parent was interviewed.
Officers will be seeking possible prosecution on the incident as the investigation is under way.
