The Jerry Tyler Memorial Airport in Niles will once again host a Veterans Memorial Pancake Breakfast Fly-In at 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
The Niles Experimental Aircraft Association invited veterans and aircraft owners across the Midwest to display their aircrafts at the fourth annual event.
Event organizer Bob Baird says the event usually draws between 400 and 500 pilots and aviation fans within a 150-mile radius.
The event has also been opened up to car clubs and owners of antique cars and motorcycles for another display, Baird said.
This year’s breakfast will open with a prayer for B-17 veteran Fred Liddy, who is battling cancer.
Breakfast costs $6 for adults, $4 for high school students, $3 for grade school students and veterans eat free. Food will include sausage, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and orange juice.
Airplane rides will be available, and students will also be able to sign up for Young Eagle flights at the event.
The event also includes door prizes.
