The Michigan Maritime Museum in partnership with the Wolverine Chapter of the Antique Outboard Motor Club, is holding its Annual Antique Outboard Motor Show/Swap Meet/Auction on Saturday, Aug. 27.
Club members from across Michigan and Indiana enjoy displaying and talking about their antique and classic motors. Old iron will be seen and heard running and smoking in the test tank as members show off their latest restorations. Also on display will be the museum’s growing collection of antique

outboards.
The Antique Outboard Motor Show/Swap Meet/Auction is open to the public. The event will be held on the Michigan Maritime Museum Campus from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Maritime Museum is home to the tall ship Friends Good Will and the Lindy Lou river launch, substantial exhibit galleries, a boat building shop, a collection of small craft and marine motors, a large collection of maritime artifacts, a Great Lakes Research Library and the Lightkeeper’s Dwelling.
