Brandywine offers free lunch

The Brandywine Community School District ‘s summer food program will begin Monday.
Free meals will be available to children 18 years of age and younger. Also, people up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled, which is recognized by a state or local public educational agency, may participate in the program.
The meals will be provided without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
The program runs through Aug. 11 at Merritt Elementary School, 1620 LaSalle Ave., Niles.  Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
