FFA will hold annual plant sale this weekend

The Cassopolis FFA Student Chapter and Alumni will conduct its yearly perennial plant and flower sale, Saturday and Sunday.

The sale will take place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in the front parking lot of 721 East State St. in Cassopolis.

The event is expected to sell more than 600 plants. Plants are economically priced at $7, $9 and $10, depending upon size and species.  Students will be available to help answer questions, transport and load plants into vehicles.

Profits from the sale are used for student scholarships and contribute to chapter travel expenses during state and national conventions.
