NHS graphics students place at state contest

Several Niles High School students in classes of Alyse Hoyt, career and technology education instructor — graphic design, placed in the Michigan Industrial and Technology Education Society’s state competition last weekend in Lansing.

Their results are as follows:

Orion Tweedy — fourth place regional

Alvero Avilla — sixth place regional

Cody Backus, Dakota Slusser and Tyler Baber — first place in the state for group project
