Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on Tuesday, April 12, a search warrant was executed in the 300 block of N. Front Street in Dowagiac.

One adult male subject was located inside the residence.

Detectives located evidence of multiple prior methamphetamine labs inside the residence and well as finished methamphetamine.

The adult male subject was arrested at the scene for manufacturing methamphetamine within 500 feet of a residence, manufacturing methamphetamine, production of hazardous waste and possession of methamphetamine.

The subject was lodged at Cass County Jail to await arraingment in Fourth District Court, Cassopolis.

CCDET was assisted at the scene by Dowagiac Police Department and city code enforcement.

This matter remains under investigation.
