A Niles man was killed in a one-vehicle accident early this morning on Terminal Road.

Jason Wright, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene when officers arrived at Terminal Road, near Renaissance Drive in Niles, at approximately 12:45 a.m. Wright was reportedly driving a S-10 pickup when it ran off the road and flipped several times. He was ejected from the vehicle.

Speed and alcohol may be factors in the accident, which remains under investigation by the Niles Police Department.

Also assisting at the scene were the Niles Fire Department, Michigan State Police and Southwestern Michigan Community Ambulance Service.
