The prospective groom is the son of Nancy and David Rank of Sturgis.
His grandparents are Elenore and Dale Rank of Coldwater.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Florence and Robert Barrett of Dowagiac.
She graduated from Dowagiac Union High School in 2001 and graduated from Muskingum College in Ohio with a humanities major.
He graduated from Centreville High School in 2000 and is employed by Yoder and Sons.
