Florence M. Decker, 90, of Dowagiac, passed away at 10 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at Cass County Medical Care Facility, Cassopolis.

Florence’s life began on Dec. 8, 1920, in New Haven, Conn., the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth (Carenza) Paulica.

She was united in marriage to Max Decker, who preceded her in death in 1992.

Her loving family includes: two daughters, Carolyn (Jim) Greenwood of Dowagiac and Maureen (Tim) Ballard of Eau Claire; one son, Bob (Monica) Decker of Union Pier; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Florence is preceded in death by her husband and a son, Gar Decker, in 2006.

Florence will be laid to rest in Keeler Cemetery at a later date.
