Annabelle E. Longworth, 84, of Buchanan, died at 9:53 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at West Woods of Niles of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 1, 1926 in Buchanan. She was a lifetime area resident and homemaker.

Annabelle first married V. Eugene Swisher on Sept. 8, 1947 in Angola, Ind. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1974. She then married Eugene Longworth on Jan. 27, 1979 in Buchanan. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1996.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jean Ann Johnson, on June 22, 1997; and three brothers, Clifford, Ivan and Donald Keller.

Annabelle is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Danny) Chappell of Galien; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Royce Swisher of Buchanan; three grandchildren, Randy (Barb) Chappell, Kenneth Johnson and Diana (Barry) Waggoner; and three great-grandchildren, Lydia Chappell, Peyton Johnson and Savannah Johnson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 3 at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan with Roald Earnst officiating.

Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan.
