A Niles woman was injured Monday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash on M-60.

Deborah Canale, 51, was transported to Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles for treatment after her car rolled near Barron Lake Road in Howard Township, Cass County.

Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports his office is investigating the traffic crash. Canale was traveling west on M-60 when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed over the center median. Canale was unable to regain control once she returned to the roadway and traveled back into the center median, rolling the vehicle onto its top.

Canale was able to get out of the vehicle.

She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Howard Township fire and rescue units, Lifecare Ambulance service and Southwestern Community Ambulance Service.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
