Iza’s (Ike) life began on Sept. 4, 1944, to Asberry and (Rosalee) Roberts in Philadelphia, Pa.

Iza married Georgia on Sept. 23, 1972. He first joined Jackson Branch Baptist Church at a young age. Iza then joined Macedonia Community Church in Eau Claire, in which he was a hard-working deacon.

Iza is survived by: his wife, Georgia; three sisters, Joyce (Robert) Lee Frederick of South Carolina, Beverly Johnson (Joseph Jankins) of S.C. and Carol B. Jackson of S.C.; three brothers, Morice Roberts of S.C., Marion (Sheryl) Roberts of S.C. and James (Linda) Roberts of S.C.,

He is preceded in death by: his father, Asberry; a son, Johnathon Michael Roberts; his brother, William White; and his sister, Darleen Roberts.

Iza’s family will gather Monday, Nov. 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 203 S. Paul St., Dowagiac, where his funeral service will be at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Robinson officiating.
