Donna J. VanKirk, 71, of Elkhart, Ind., passed to her rest Nov. 3, 2010 at East Lake Nursing Center, Elkhart, after a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 26, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Arthur N. and “Goldie” Zollner. She had lived in Elkhart for several years.

Donna had worked for Don’s Printing, setting type and composing. She was loved by her family, especially her nieces and nephew.

Donna is survived by a brother, Arthur R. (Sandy) Kizer of Englewood, Fla., and three nieces and nephews.

A brother, Richard Jerry Kizer, died March 9, 1963.

A memorial service was held Monday, Nov. 8, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg, where friends assembled one hour prior to services. Officiating was the Rev. Jim Tormey, pastor of Sales United Methodist Church, Granger, Ind.

Cremation has taken place and burial was held at Adamsville Cemetery alongside her parents and brother, Jerry.
