Robert T. Bishop, 65, of Cassopolis, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at this home.

He was born April 4, 1945 in Niles, to George and Marietta Bishop.  He married Loraine Bravin in Niles on June 28, 1969.

Bob is survived by his wife, Loraine; daughter and son-in-law, Brooke Bishop and Alfonso Valerio of Costa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Jenita Bishop of Dowagiac; as well as six grandgirls, Lauren, Hannah, Jessie, Alaina, Francesca and Lillie.

Bob lived an adventurous life to the fullest and on his own terms.  He loved and respected the natural world and travelled through it with courage, passion, loyalty and wry humor.  No one who knew Bob will ever be able to categorize or forget him.

The family has observed a private remembrance.
