PLAINWELL — The Dowagiac golf team finished seventh at the Wolverine Conference Jamboree hosted by Plainwell on Wednesday.

Plainwell won the jamboree and is now three points ahead of Otsego in the overall standings.

The Trojans shot an impressive 187, while the Bulldogs were second with a 202.

Vicksburg and Comstock both shot 208 with Gull Lake finishing fifth with a 211 and Allegan sixth with a 215.

The Chieftains posted a score of 232.

Plainwell’s Hannah Lewis was again the medalist after finishing with a 36. Otsego’s Brittany Haight was second with a 38.

Dowagiac was led by Lauren and Haley Smith, both of whom shot 55.

Maggie Cripe finished with a 56, Kaye Swartz a 66 and Rikkie Baker 83.
