Eddies blank Chiefs to improve to 2-0

EDWARDSBURG — The Edwardsburg varsity football team used a 28-point third quarter to race past White Pigeon Thursday night 49-0.

The Eddies dominated the ground game to the tune of 416 yards, while the Chiefs just managed 48 rushing yards. The Eddies overcame seven penalties for 64 yards in the win.

Chad Tevlin was the star of the second quarter with a 27-yard TD run and a 24-yard interception return for a touchdown. Edwardsburg improves to 2-0, while White Pigeon falls to 1-1.
